What a degraded period means for you
- Database down: reads that need stored content fail with
5xx, and those requests are refunded against your monthly counter. Keys, plans and usage keep resolving. - Cache down: the API keeps serving at a conservative rate limit and cannot enforce monthly quotas until the cache returns. It never bills from a count it could not read, and it never blocks more than necessary to stay up.
- Payment provider down: existing plans and keys are unaffected; new checkouts answer
503until it recovers.
Report a problem
Include the request_id from the error response and the timestamp, and write to hello@everythingblog.in. Every error body carries a request id and every request is logged with it, so a report with one is a report we can trace.
