Developer API

The news feed behind Everything Blog, as an API

Every story arrives with the structure already applied — a TL;DR, key points, sentiment, topics, and a link to the publisher — from the same service that renders this site. Read the quickstart, browse the API reference, or check pricing.

What you can build with

Feed

Ranked headlines with a summary, key points, sentiment, topic and read time, cursor-paginated.

Article detail

One article with its source, publisher profile and AI analysis, keyed by a stable UUID.

AI enrichment

TL;DR, highlights, sentiment mix, political lean, quality score and extracted key points.

Search

Full-text search across collected coverage, newest first.

Story clusters

The same event reported by several publishers, grouped so you can show one story instead of twelve.

Source intelligence

Publisher profiles with reliability score and lean, for weighting what you show.

Search, story clusters and source intelligence are on paid plans; the free plan covers the feed and article detail. Exact limits are on the pricing page, read live from the API that enforces them.

First request

Create an account, copy the key once, and send it in the X-API-Key header. Keys never belong in a URL: query strings end up in logs, browser history and referrer headers.

export EB_API_KEY="eb_live_..."

curl -s "https://api.everythingblog.in/v1/feed?limit=3" \
  -H "X-API-Key: $EB_API_KEY"

Plans

The plan catalogue is temporarily unavailable. Try the pricing page.

Auth

API key

X-API-Key or Authorization: Bearer. Shown once, stored hashed, revocable immediately.

Throttled

429

With Retry-After and X-RateLimit-* headers, so clients can back off correctly.

Allowance spent

402

Retrying cannot help: upgrade, wait for the reset date, or raise your spend cap.
