In short

Trent's total revenue from operations climbed 22% to reach ₹5,873 crore, supported by physical store additions that offset mid-single-digit like-for-like sales growth. The company mitigated supply-chain disruptions and inflationary pressures through active supplier engagement strategies. Operationally, the network expanded significantly, reaching nearly a thousand Zudio locations alongside hundreds of Westside stores. The earnings release coincided with the announcement that Noel Tata will transition to chairman emeritus on November 12.

Net profit rose to ₹468 crore in the July-September quarter, while revenue from operations increased 22% to ₹5,873 crore, the owner of fashion chains Westside and Zudio said on Thursday.

Trent said inflation remained elevated across cost categories, with geopolitical uncertainty, interest-rate trends and supply-chain disruptions contributing to cost pressures. The company said sourcing initiatives and supplier engagement were helping it manage these headwinds while maintaining relative stability in its value proposition.
