Precious metal prices retreated on Friday after a robust U.S. jobs report and rising consumer sentiment strengthened the greenback. The U.S. dollar climbed 0.6% to 102.2, which reduced international appeal for dollar-denominated commodities. Higher likelihoods of a December interest rate hike triggered daily sell-offs, yet bullion still locked in solid gains across the broader week.
