In short

The Central Committee adopted a formal resolution to advance rigorous internal governance following the ejection of 33 prominent figures from party, state, and military ranks. Among those cast out were former high-ranking general Zhang Youxia and former Xinjiang official Ma Xingrui, who faced charges ranging from bribery to nepotism. Meanwhile, military graft investigator Zhang Shengmin was promoted to the Politburo as discipline officials confirmed that 7.9 million individuals have faced punishment since 2012. Moving forward, the anti-graft drive will focus heavily on sectors where concentrated power, large funds, and government-business collusion intersect.
