In short

The US Central Command (Centcom) has dismissed Iranian claims over control of the Strait of Hormuz, stating that US and regional partners control the strait despite Iran's aggression. Centcom also denied that the IRGC had killed hundreds of US service members in Jordan and that a Singapore-flagged container ship struck a naval mine in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran's IRIB news reported that the IRGC is fully surveilling the strait, with no enemy vessels entering the maritime space of Oman and the Strait of Hormuz.
