The company’s own-brand portfolio, which includes Biryani By Kilo and Vaango, reported revenue of ₹121.1 crore in the second quarter of FY27, compared with ₹97.8 crore in the year-earlier period.

The portfolio’s brand contribution margin also improved sharply to 9.4% from 0.6% a year ago, according to a company filing.

Biryani By Kilo was the stronger performer. Its same-store sales grew 8.1% during the quarter, while average daily sales stood at ₹72,000. The brand added six net new stores during the period.

Vaango reported same-store sales growth of 6.9%, with average daily sales of ₹24,000. Together, the two brands added seven net stores in the quarter.

Meanwhile, the company said its consolidated net loss narrowed to ₹24 lakh, compared with a loss of ₹21.89 crore a year ago.
