During a joint press conference in Islamabad, foreign ministers from both nations agreed to facilitate deeper business-to-business links and discussed potentially resuming direct flights. Pakistan recently established a trade and investment office at its Singapore high commission to support these bilateral exchanges. The trip also yielded a formal pact between emergency management agencies to address climate-induced risks through joint exercises and early warning systems. Furthermore, Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif accepted an invitation in principle to visit Singapore.

This impasse threatens prolonged domestic instability as traditional political alignments fracture across the political spectrum.
