In short

Domestic equities bolstered the local currency as the Sensex rallied over 550 points, supported by foreign institutional investors purchasing Rs 3,114.68 crore worth of shares. Meanwhile, global crude prices eased marginally as Iranian and Qatari officials engaged in diplomatic discussions aimed at stabilizing regional energy supplies. Despite these positive domestic drivers, a stronger dollar index hovering at 101.65 prevented more substantial currency appreciation.
