In short

Army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir traveled to Tehran twice this month, joined by Saudi and Turkish officials, to help broker an end to the fighting between Iran and the United States. “The word that we would use is always cautiously optimistic,” added Chaudhry, director general of Inter-Services Public Relations.
