The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a series of strikes against Pakistani security forces, alleging that its fighters killed a Military Intelligence (MI) captain and several personnel of the Pakistan Army’s Special Services Group (SSG) during its ongoing Operation Almas.

In a press release issued by its spokesperson, Major Gwahram Baloch, the separatist group claimed that Pakistani forces had suffered significant human and material losses at multiple locations and were forced to retreat following clashes. The BLF, as cited by news agency ANI said that the operation was continuing on several fronts with “full intensity and success”.

Videos purportedly showing the ongoing violence have also surfaced. In one clip, a woman is heard saying, “Pakistan is defeated now & and cannot fight us”, as gunfire continues in the background. Another video showed a woman firing what appeared to be an assault rifle.

The BLF further claimed that its fighters had overrun the main camp of the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) and hoisted the organisation’s flag at Gwadar Zero Point, describing the development as evidence of its advances during the operation.

The group also claimed to have taken control of the Muzhani police station, seizing official weapons and military equipment. It alleged that a police official was killed during the confrontation.

In a separate incident in Gubd, the BLF said its fighters attacked a convoy of Pakistani security forces, destroying an army vehicle and killing or injuring several personnel travelling in it. The group also claimed that its fighters had taken control of the police checkpoint at Gubd Cross.
