One more chance for excluded voters in Delhi, 6 other states

In short

The Election Commission of India is allowing individuals tagged as absent, shifted, dead, or duplicate during the ongoing revision to submit fresh enumeration forms. Electors in Delhi, Haryana, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Telangana, and Nagaland no longer need to file Form 6 or Form 8 for intra-state address modifications. Instead, they must submit their forms with an explanatory annexure and residence proof to the relevant electoral registration officer. To speed up integration, election officials will generate partially filled enumeration forms on the ECINet dashboard for booth-level outreach.
