Nowak family say police failed them multiple times

In short

Henry Nowak, an 18-year-old University of Southampton student, died after being stabbed five times by Vickrum Digwa. The victim's relatives were not permitted to view body-worn camera footage of the incident until the opening day of Digwa's trial at Southampton Crown Court. Although Chief Constable Alexis Boon acknowledged serious institutional failures, the family was informed that no officers would face criminal or conduct investigations. Meanwhile, an independent inquiry commissioned by the government will examine missed opportunities to intervene.
