In short

The widening wave of false security alerts targeted major news organizations on Friday, including British broadcaster Sky, Bulgaria's Nova TV, and several Irish media groups. In Dublin, broadcaster RTE temporarily evacuated personnel after receiving an emailed threat warning that an explosive device would detonate within 45 minutes. Aviation disruption also persisted into a second day, leading NATO to deploy an air patrol near the Hungarian-Romanian border as fighter jets escorted affected commercial airliners. Although police in countries like the Czech Republic and Denmark monitored multiple flight threats, airports in Prague and Copenhagen maintained operations without cancellations.
