In short

The Nationalist Congress Party's core committee convened for its second session in three days alongside party head and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar. The discussions followed a Sunday meeting in Delhi between Shah and senior NCP figures, which excluded Pawar and her sons. Officials maintain the Delhi talks solely addressed alliance coordination alongside the BJP and Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena rather than any merger with the Sharad Pawar-led NCP faction. Ahead of Wednesday's core meeting, Pawar rallied approximately 50 legislators and ministers at her official Mumbai residence to project unity.
