Meta Platforms, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, has delayed the implementation of its updated commercial terms, which were criticized by publishers and advertisers. The company extended the implementation date from October 30 to November 20 to address concerns raised by these stakeholders. Meta has previously rejected claims that its new terms would give the company an unlimited right to use their content for AI services. The delay comes after complaints from publishers and advertisers to EU and UK antitrust authorities about the new terms.
