In short

The hosts overcame an early score from Mateo Carreras by utilizing backline precision and effective set-piece disruptions to establish a 21-5 lead before the break. Disruption hit both sides late in the first half, with Argentina losing captain Julian Montoya to a head injury and Ireland losing captain Dan Sheehan to injury. Ireland accelerated after the interval, with Sam Prendergast scoring his first international try before Ronan Kelleher added another off a rolling maul. The decisive victory positions the squad well as they target the upcoming championship finals at Twickenham.
