The Railway Board awarded Jupiter Wagons a tax-inclusive deal valued at Rs 1,140 crore, cementing its role in national rolling stock initiatives like the recent 5,800 BOBRN wagon tender. Managing Director Vivek Lohia attributed the win to the company's integrated manufacturing setup, which will soon include wheelset manufacturing at its Odisha facility. Alongside private freight demand, the company projects Rs 2,000 crore in incremental fourth-quarter FY27 order inflows.
