In short

Recent missile and drone strikes landed in Gaza City's Al-Rimal neighbourhood and the southern area of Al-Mawasi in Khan Younis. The attacks struck civilians near Cairo School as well as five on-duty police officers aged 23 to 53. Although the Israeli military claimed it was targeting military operatives, it offered no evidence, prompting the local interior ministry to denounce the police strike as a horrific massacre. These continued daily operations bring the post-ceasefire death toll to 1,580 people.
