Iranian officials insist Washington has nothing new to offer and assert that any renewed warfare would expand far beyond West Asia. While Donald Trump claimed American forces have already degraded most of Iran's military and nuclear sites, Secretary of State Marco Rubio indicated a final decision on new strikes has not been made. Despite the hostile public exchanges, Iranian envoys traveled to Qatar to maintain indirect consultations with American representatives to halt the war.

Iran said it has “no intention” of engaging in talks with the United States, as the war of words between the two countries intensifies.
During a parliamentary session, Ali Nikzad, deputy speaker of Iran’s parliament, claimed the US had “nothing new to offer” in potential talks.
“They must accept that they have no choice but to acknowledge the power of Iran,” said Nikzad. “It is the Americans, not the Iranian nation, who will ultimately surrender in this conflict. [Tehran] has no intention of negotiating on the nuclear issue regardless of any pressure."
The deputy speaker said that “this great nation has already granted its enemies ample opportunity for negotiations in this arena, but it was met only with repeated breaches of promises and the illegal bombardment of parts of its peaceful nuclear facilities”.
Nikzad’s intervention comes after the Iranian army vowed to respond to any new US attacks with “an immediate, crushing response”.

Diplomatic efforts by New Delhi are targeting critical economic disruptions caused by the ongoing war in Eastern Europe. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar outlined these initiatives during a G20 gathering, emphasizing the need to safeguard international supply networks. The push seeks to alleviate pressure on global food and energy markets caused by rising maritime costs and endangered infrastructure.
Tehran has put its armed forces on maximum combat readiness while expanding target banks to cover both physical and non-physical American and Israeli assets worldwide. The aggressive posture aims to deter potential strikes against Iranian nuclear sites as indirect negotiations continue through Qatari mediators. Although military production is surging, Iranian officials maintain that escalation can be avoided if Washington fulfills a sweeping list of economic and security concessions.
Israeli opposition parties are navigating complex coalition arithmetic after securing a combined 67 Knesset seats against Benjamin Netanyahu’s 53. Because Zionist opposition factions control only 48 seats, ousting the incumbent premier is mathematically impossible without external parliamentary backing from Arab parties. This strategic opening has spurred outreach, but major policy disagreements and ideological redlines threaten to derail any formal alliance.
