The appointment marks the start of a renewed growth agenda as the company seeks to build a technology-first investment platform for India's expanding investor base.

“Rajeev joins us at a pivotal moment, as we reimagine the business as a robust, digitally enabled capital markets franchise built for the next generation of Indian investors. His deep industry experience, strategic perspective and proven ability to transform and scale businesses make him the right leader for this journey,” said Roopam Asthana, executive director and CEO, IndusInd Capital.

Srivastava has nearly 25 years of experience across banking, financial services and capital markets. He has led broking businesses through multiple market cycles, with a track record in business transformation, digital innovation and building franchises for sustainable growth.

Before joining IndusInd Securities, he was managing director and CEO of Standard Chartered Securities. He has also held senior leadership positions at HDFC Securities, Reliance Securities and ICICI Bank.

“I am delighted to lead the company at a time when India’s capital markets are undergoing a structural shift, with record participation from first-time investors, rapid digital adoption and growing interest in a wider range of asset classes. IndusInd Securities has a rich legacy, and the strength of the IndusInd brand and the backing of IIHL gives us a strong foundation to build on,” said Srivastava.

In his new role, Srivastava will lead the company's next phase of growth, with a mandate to revitalise the franchise and position it to capitalise on India's evolving investment landscape. Key priorities include using data and artificial intelligence to deliver personalised research and advice, improving the client experience across platforms and expanding into new geographies.
