The gathering is permitted to run from 10 am to 5 pm with strict access controls, including metal detector screenings and designated VIP entrances. Organizers are required to deploy their own volunteers, supply drinking water, and prevent inflammatory speeches that could breach public peace. To maintain essential city services, priority traffic corridors have been established for emergency vehicles heading to LNJP and GB Pant hospitals. Meanwhile, neighborhood commercial groups fear the large crowds and roadway diversions will harm retail sales in the run-up to Diwali.
