How Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys shares performed post Q2; profit up 51%, ₹5 dividend; what drove performance?

In short

The company saw quarterly net profit climb to ₹147.76 crore as revenue and core operating margins expanded over the prior year. Despite this annual progress, net profit and EBITDA contracted sequentially compared to the June quarter due to narrower profitability margins. Higher revenue contributions from the mining and power segments also helped support the quarterly top line. The earnings-driven price rise offered a pause from broader year-to-date losses of 24% recorded across 2026.
