The Houthis have claimed they targeted a Saudi military aircraft, a Eurofighter Typhoon, with an air-to-air missile in the airspace over Yemen’s Saada governorate.

Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said in a brief statement on X that the aircraft had taken off from Saudi Arabia’s Taif airbase and was “at risk of crashing” after being “struck directly”.

Neither Saudi authorities nor independent sources have confirmed the attack so far.
