Houthi media says Saudi strikes target Yemen's Hodeidah port

1 November 2026 18:36 GMT

Houthi media said on Sunday that Saudi air strikes targeted Hodeidah, a strategic port under Houthi control, as the Iran-aligned group battles a Saudi-led coalition supporting the internationally recognised government.

"The Saudi enemy has launched two airstrikes on Ras Issa port," Al-Masirah TV said.

Hodeidah, on the Red Sea, is the largest seaport under Houthi control and a main entry point for food and aid into the areas the group holds. The port is also used for importing and storing oil.
