The watchOS 27.3 beta introduces Live Rewind, which transcribes the preceding 15 seconds of audio, alongside Siri Recap for high-level conversation overviews. To maintain transparency, triggering Live Rewind with a double-press of the digital crown sounds an audible chime and displays an animation. Additionally, Siri Recap provides granular privacy scheduling that allows users to restrict recording to specific parameters, such as weekday working hours.

It’s impossible to paint a full picture of what Audio Intelligence on the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 will be right now. The watchOS 27.3 developer beta just dropped earlier this afternoon, and these features are meant to be lived with in day-to-day life. We’re definitely going to do that over the next few weeks at The Verge. That said, here are some initial impressions.

Finic has launched an alternative to established risk tools like Sardine and Sift by providing an open-source engine for real-time transaction screening. The software allows developers to automate complex fraud workflows and model deployments directly through AI coding agents. This provides organizations with transparent, self-hosted infrastructure to evaluate critical user activities without relying on proprietary black-box vendors.
Continuous integration setups now allow teams to bypass creating placeholder deployments simply to test code changes. Developers can activate automated testing workflows straight from their local terminal, provided their accounts are properly connected and hold the appropriate repository permissions. This change removes previous administrative friction by letting builds run immediately upon code updates.
Observability teams gain broader dashboard visualization capabilities and system-level workload tracking across shared infrastructure in versions 2.39 through 2.42. The updates refine investigation workflows through experimental ad hoc multi-source filtering and an automated tool designed for agentic service health analysis. These changes improve operational visibility while modernizing collector telemetry alignments and query attribution.
