The Prime Minister’s Office requested broader engagement with state leaders to address localized logistical constraints and infrastructure gaps before finalizing the recommendations. Formed in July after disruptions forced a retest of NEET-UG 2026, the six-member committee is evaluating a multi-stage transition to digital assessments. It is also considering public-private partnerships to build test centers in every district and harmonizing schedules across major testing bodies.
