G20 foreign ministers in Atlanta meeting head to an ending without consensus on key issues
In short
The two-day foreign ministers gathering concluded without unified agreement due to wide-ranging disputes that spanned Ukraine, Middle East tensions, U.S. trade tariffs, and South China Sea navigation. Russia's attendance heavily disrupted normal summit protocols, leading to the cancellation of the traditional family photo. Despite these frictions, representatives plan to push ahead with preparations for the upcoming G20 leaders' summit in Florida next month. During the event, Rubio also held talks with fellow Quad members before directing focus to maritime waterways and supply chain resilience.
