The diplomatic standoff in Atlanta comes as member nations confront mounting challenges to international trade and maritime security, exacerbated by Iran blocking the Strait of Hormuz after US-Israeli strikes. European Union foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas emphasized that European nations will continue demanding accountability for Russian aggression, including a recent railway station strike that killed at least 14 people.
