Indushekar allegedly executed the killings over a two-to-three-week span by luring his wife's relatives one by one to his Srirampura residence near Bashyam Circle. The prolonged crime spree came to light only after concerned relatives lodged a missing-person complaint when multiple family members abruptly vanished. Law enforcement teams have so far recovered just one body while working with district police to trace the remaining six victims. Indushekar, who has a past chain-snatching record, harbored deep-seated resentment over disputes regarding his wife visiting her parental home.
