In short

The overnight intrusions affected supermarkets across Sweden, Belgium, Luxembourg, Estonia, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Finland. Attackers accessed internal computer controls to artificially heat refrigeration units, causing inventory losses for chains like ICA, Coop, Selver, Ahold Delhaize, and Carrefour. The disruptions echo an October attack in France that targeted Danfoss thermostats to spoil groceries. However, authorities have not confirmed whether the Danish firm's equipment was involved in this latest set of intrusions.
