AGRA: Punjabi singer and actor
Diljit Dosanjh visited the iconic Taj Mahal in Agra amid tight security arrangements. During his visit, Dosanjh admired the monument’s magnificent white-marble architecture and intricate beauty, taking in the grandeur of one of India’s most recognisable historical landmarks as security personnel remained on watch.
The visit comes days after Dosanjh’s upcoming Delhi concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium received police clearance following a review of security arrangements.
Delhi Police had initially withheld permission for the October 30 show, citing specific threat-related intelligence and concerns related to security and law and order.
The decision was subsequently reconsidered after the organisers held discussions with police officials and presented plans addressing security, traffic management and crowd control. The concert is part of Dosanjh’s Aura India Tour.
