In short

Digital currencies rebounded on Wednesday as bitcoin climbed 0.7 percent to $78,354 and ether rose 1.4 percent to $2,323 following a dip to six-week lows. The midterm election outcome creates regulatory uncertainty for an industry that invested more than $300 million to back politicians from both parties. Despite the daily bounce, broader market sentiment remains fragile after losing $300 billion in value over the past month. Compounding these political headwinds, a recent $6 billion cyberattack on Binance triggered $4.72 billion in net customer withdrawals.
