In short

Haas confirmed that Esteban Ocon will not return to a race cockpit this year after being benched ahead of the Mexico City Grand Prix. With Ryo Hirakawa unavailable due to World Endurance Championship commitments with Toyota, the team turned to 21-year-old Formula Two leader Rafael Camara for Sao Paulo. Camara, who already tested for the team in August, accelerates his planned future integration alongside Ollie Bearman. The sudden driver change leaves Haas defending a narrow four-point advantage over Audi in the championship standings.
