In short

The rally was widespread across most major domestic sectors, led by large-cap and rate-sensitive segments like banking, infrastructure, and energy, with only the auto index finishing lower. Domestic institutional investors anchored the advance by pouring a net ₹1,924 crore into stocks, while foreign portfolio investors withdrew ₹943 crore.
