Bomb threat diverts Dublin-Rome flight to France

By · Published by Everything Blog

In short

French military aircraft escorted the commercial flight to the Evreux airfield after crew members reported an in-flight bomb threat. All 151 passengers and six crew members were evacuated without injury, allowing a bomb squad to examine the plane. Flightradar24 data revealed the aircraft turned near Paris and circled the Evreux region prior to touching down. This emergency landing aligns with a wider series of security threats that disrupted flights in Bulgaria, Italy, and Poland earlier in the week.
