Blr airport road curbs: Check Blue Line update

By · Published by Everything Blog

In short

Motorists traveling on Ballari Road must navigate 18 months of curbs and diversions while a 1.7-kilometre elevated corridor is constructed between Anandnagar and Mehkri Circle. Meanwhile, the complete opening of the 58-kilometre Namma Metro Blue Line has been delayed to March 2028, though operations will launch in phases starting with the Central Silk Board to KR Pura stretch in mid-2027. Progress on the metro has been hampered by Outer Ring Road traffic, intricate engineering between Hebbal and Kempapura, and stone transport curbs from Tamil Nadu that affected over 40,000 tonnes of material.
