Bengaluru-Goa Vande Bharat to disrupt 13 trains

By · Published by Everything Blog

In short

The semi-high-speed service linking Yesvantpur and Madgaon will run six days a week across a 670-kilometer route with 12 planned stops. Major scheduling alterations include shifting the Mangaluru Junction-Yeshwantpur Gomteshwara Express arrival time from 4:30 pm to 10:15 pm, while the Karwar-Yeshwantpur Express faces an 85-minute delay. Due to strict safety restrictions across the Sakleshpur-Subrahmanya Road ghat section, the train will operate at average speeds of only 53 to 54 kmph. Overall travel times will extend up to 13 hours and 20 minutes toward Madgaon, preventing the service from meeting the standard superfast threshold.
