In short

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw detailed how the high-speed network will sharply reduce travel durations between major hubs like Delhi, Lucknow, and Varanasi. Complementing these routes, newly introduced Vande Bharat Sleeper trains will facilitate overnight passenger journeys between Delhi and Varanasi. The broader modernization effort also turns Kashi station into a massive transit hub connected directly to the Namo bridge.
