In short

Arini's flagship hedge fund experienced a sharp reversal of fortune, falling roughly 26% this year through October 23 after never previously recording an annual loss. To manage portfolio risk and secure liquidity, the firm has already sold portions of its performing speculative-grade assets, such as debt tied to Sabre Corp. In addition to offloading holdings to interested buyers, Arini has gathered $1.5 billion in fresh capital, deploying more than $400 million of those funds to date.
