In short

Addressing supporters at Ramlila Maidan, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav demanded transparency regarding claims that 1.27 crore votes, purportedly belonging to Hindus, were removed from voter rolls. He linked the timing of these allegations directly to the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister's loss in a recent MLC election. Yadav also noted that the ruling party refused to concede that defeat and sought an official recount from the Election Commission. Calling the administration a "double zero" rather than a "double-engine" government, he urged citizens and excluded scheme beneficiaries to rally with the INDIA bloc against state injustice.

Speaking after arriving at Ramlila Maidan for the INDIA bloc's rally, Yadav said, "Limits of injustice have been crossed. Now, even the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has himself admitted that 1.27 crore votes have been reduced. And when did he remember this? Only after he lost the MLC election."

Taking a dig at the BJP's 'double-engine government' slogan, Yadav said the party had now become a "double zero". He alleged that the ruling party had refused to accept its defeat in the MLC election and approached the Election Commission to seek a recount.

Yadav said who had provided the data on the alleged reduction in voter numbers. He also questioned the party's claim that 1.27 crore Hindu votes were missing from the electoral rolls.
