The election outcomes have positioned Democrats to secure control of the House of Representatives following multiple flipped seats, while the broader battle for the Senate remains unsettled. In Georgia, Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff won re-election, while former Democratic governor Roy Cooper captured a Senate seat in North Carolina, flipping it from Republican control.

The results represented a significant test of Trump's influence over the Republican Party, with voters weighing in on his administration's economic policies, inflation, healthcare and other issues.
